Are you an ASE certified mechanic?

rideshare-inspectionWould you like more long-term and returning customers?

There are Uber drivers in your area looking for Uber Inspection locations and we would like to help connect them with you.

Can you perform a simple Uber Inspection? Which includes things like:

  • Checking brake pads and inspecting head lights?
  • Making sure that the vehicle is in good condition and will be safe on the road.

Take a look at the OFFICIAL UBER INSPECTION FORM HERE to see exactly what you will determine is a PASS or FAIL on an Uber inspection, which you would need to sign off on.

How it Works!

RideShare Partner Inspection locations are NOT Uber Greenlight Hubs

We have created this RideShare Inspection Location directory for ASE Certified Mechanics to be featured as  “Third-Party” Uber Vehicle Inspection location listings, as an alternative to Greenlight Hubs.

Unless your company is a national brand like Jiffy Lube, Meineke, or even a Sprint Store, you will find that it can be difficult to become an Official Greenlight Hub Activation Center.

However, this does not mean that you cannot perform Uber vehicle inspections, as long as you are an ASE Certifed Mechanic.

According to Uber you are considered “Third-Party” and Uber simply doesn’t pay for the inspection on behalf of the Uber driver. In your case, the Uber driver would pay for their own.

“Most auto mechanics are certified to perform Uber vehicle inspections.”

“Note that Uber does not cover inspection costs when performed by a third-party mechanic.”

Official Uber Website Source – link is for Denver as an example, but this would typically be applicable to all cities Uber operates or has drivers.
